I just got a huge thigh tattoo and I was out of lotion to use. I felt the tattoo and it was really really dry. So since it had alot of color in it, that wasn%26#039;t a good thing. I tried water and baby lotion but water wasn%26#039;t helping and Baby lotion has 3 types of alcohol in it which isn%26#039;t good. So today I tried this foot cream that moisturizes and heals dry skin.
So I was wondering, does it matter if it was foot cream? it didn%26#039;t burn, except when I hit the real tender parts of my tattoo.|||Nah. Usually, foot cream is just like other body lotions but a little thicker. It%26#039;s best not to use it too much as it might clog your pores though. Also, make sure there%26#039;s no petroleum. That can fade the color I think.|||You need to check that the cream you are using has no colours or frangrance added to it. You are best off going and getting some tattoo aftercare from a tattooist. Try H2Ocean it is what I use and I have never had a problem. It will prbably be more expensive then foot cream but if you think about how much your tattoo cost you and how long it took, wouldnt you rather have it heal as fast and in as good of condition as possible. H2ocean foam or cream usually heals my tattoos totally in about 4-6 days. www.h2ocean.com
